Ludicolo Battle Feature Figure Series 3

Let’s shake it with the fourth and final Battle Feature figure in @wickedcooltoys series 3 Pokémon wave. It’s the monster with the smooth moves, Ludicolo! This fella’s battle feature is not much of a battle feature as it is an ode to its dancing capability. Activate a winding mechanism in his inner workings by pushing down on his torso several times. When you release him, his torso swivels left and right, causing his arms to shake up and down, giving him the ability to dance for a short moment. The resulting little jig is so cute and reminiscent of a Hawaiian dashboard hula girl. I only wish it lasted a bit longer. What has lasted longer is WCT’s track record of great sculpts. This Ludicolo presents nicely with great proportions and nice details. For example, the ends of his fur look very nice on his backside where they terminate in different places. What continues to be a problem is the paint application. Although a lot of it falls on the fact that there’s lots of details that need to be painted on this figure. The brown zigzags around his body are sloppy in some places and the yellow of the top of his pineapple is a bit thick. Nevertheless, the figure plays and displays great. Overall, this is yet another great looking figure with a really fun gimmick that can provide hours of fun, however, do not expect a perfectly painted figure. I give this happy guy 4 out of 5 stars, get it, you’ll be happy with it!
