”The Banana Splits Movie” is a fun indie horror comedy with a cool consept but a somewhat half-baked story. There’s plenty of fun and enjoyable moments in this film but for it to live up to its full potential I think it should’ve been even more gory, brutal and over the top. The plot feels a bit formulaic also and I think they could’ve easily taken this movie to a whole new level with a better script.
