Final Destination (Blu-ray)

“DEATH DOESN’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!” Hey all! At long last, the single most brutal work week of my life is at an end. I oversee an organic produce department at a mid sized organic/natural foods market. I was working for the earlier portions of shifts during an unprecedented buying panic, and every single shift felt like three. Now that my weekend has begun, and I can actually relax for the first time, it occurred to me that I just missed the 20th birthday celebration of one of the best horror films of the 2000’s. Happy belated birthday anyway, Final Destination! You’re almost old enough to drink booze. This is easily one of the most memorable and iconic franchises to spring from the 2000’s horror landscape, and having just revisited it for the first time in a decade, I can happily report it has aged fantastically. Sure, it gets a little silly and the typical horror tropes abound, but I found it to be surprisingly excellent. I loved the kills, the cleverness, and surprisingly, the music! It had a great, tense soundtrack. I think I’ll have to run through the entire series at a nice leisurely pace over the next few days, as I recall the sequels being uncharacteristically decent as sequels go. I don’t even know if I’ve seen the last two 😂😅🤘How is everyone doing? Any Final Destination fans? Which is your favorite entry? I hope you’re all staying safe
