Arctic (Blu-ray)

Sometimes when you’re hunkered down and the lights are dim, the heater at the perfect temperature, maybe a warm drink in hand, nothing hits the spot like a good old fashioned survival film. This one came out recentlyish with little to no fanfare, but I happened to come across a trailer, and was immediately sold on an arctic survival film starring none other than Hannibal himself. I was not disappointed. While far from original, this is a fantastic, gripping survival thriller through and through. It hits all of the usual story beats, with little dialogue, but a high emotional payoff. I loved this one, and highly recommend it for survival film junkies. Have you seen Arctic?
