The 6th Day (Blu-ray)

Moving right along, I was feeling a little nostalgic and felt like watching an Arnold movie or two, and decided to go with one that I’ve only seen once or twice over the years, and didn’t have much recollection of it outside of it being one of those 90’s style on the run conspiracy films. Aaaaand it was pretty much exactly that, with the backdrop of a sci-fi cloning conspiracy. I would definitely be hard pressed to call this a good movie by most definitions of the concept, but I was entertained as hell from the get go. Over the top action scenes, big budget special effects (seriously, those CG helicopters were completely absurd 😂), clones clones clones galore, and one of hammiest, downright awful performances from Arnold, all of these elements seem to elevate the film all these years later, rather than hurt.
