Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker (Blu-ray + 4K UHD)

Hey all! I thought that I would do something super unique with my page today, something no one else is doing right now. Something singular and groundbreaking. That’s right, it’s time to feast your eyes, for the very first time today, on the newly arrived Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 4K release. I’ll be the first to admit that I am a massive fan of Rian Johnson’s divisive The Last Jedi, so naturally I went into this film with a lot of apprehension, particularly when everyone says this film “fixed the problems” of the previous entry. I walked out of the theater shaking my head after seeing this one. I’ve never seen such a whiplash inducing, backpedaling, hyper kinetic mess of a movie in my life 😂 I enjoyed a lot of the movie, but absolutely hated that JJ and co capitulated with the vocal screaming masses, and back stepped on some of the most interesting material Star Wars has ever had. So, I was disappointed, and the series kind of ended with a fizzle. All of that said, it’s been a few months and I had very different feelings for The Last Jedi when I first saw it, so maybe the same thing will happen with this one, now that I literally have zero expectations. So, here we go!
