Mission Impossible Collection (Blu-ray)

::HUMS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE THEME ENDLESSLY:: Hey all!!! Work is done for the day, and since I’m still nursing a pretty bad leg injury, I thought I’d rest the remainder of the afternoon and knock off one or two of these classics. While I’m at it, here’s a repost of an old show off snapshot from the vault’s past 😎😁😎 Sometimes you just need a good old fashioned big budget action experience with a little bit of brains. I’m craving huge spectacle with crazy set pieces, but I don’t feel like turning my mind off entirely. What are my options? Well, obviously we have either James Bond, John Wick, or Ethan Hunt will have to come to the rescue. I decided on one of the Mission Impossible films, and wow what a tough choice it always is! There are few, if any film franchises that have surprised me as much as this one has. In a rare reversal of the normal law of diminishing returns, this series just keeps getting better and better! I’d have to say my favorite of the pack is Rogue Nation, followed by Ghost Protocol, Fallout, I, III, and II. That’s the order, but I LOVE every single one of these films. I do wish the brain trust had continued the trend of selecting distinctive, new directors with each entry, but I think Christopher McQuarrie has done a hell of a job. He’s made some of the best films in the series to date, so their plan to film the next two back to back has me intrigued as for what they all have in store for the franchise. What about all of you?
