Avatar Collector's Edition (Blu-ray)

So I’m thinking it’s time to take another trip to one of my favorite galaxies far far away... nope, not that one, I mean the one with the vibrant, lush moon of Pandora! Although the 4727271 sequels that have become somewhat of a running punchline have still yet to materialize more than a decade later, Avatar remains an awesome sci-fi action extravaganza of the most epic proportions. Sure, it’s essentially Dances With Wolves in space, but WOW this is still one of the most BEAUTIFUL films I’ve ever seen. Pandora never ceases to amaze and inspire, and it’s kind of mind boggling how incredible it looks even today. I love the story, and no matter how many times I see it, the film is still emotionally resonant, and I really do hope to one day spend more time in this universe. The action is spectacular, the performances full of heart, and overall this is a fantastic, unique, wholly realized sci-fi fantasy epic. I know it isn’t exactly fashionable to not vehemently hate this one, but anyone else still a fan???
