Iron Man + 2 + 3 (Blu-ray + 4K UHD)

HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO IRON MAN 2!!! After having rewatched it during my 4K franchise rewatch a few months back, the first time in years, and have to say that in the overall scheme of things I have a much higher opinion of it now, and in context. A lot of things that didn’t resonate the first couple times around had so much more impact in hindsight, with the knowledge of what’s to come. It’s kind of amazing and another credit to Marvel for both their world building, and rich, often dynamic and evolving characters. I’m still having difficulty with the fact that there will be no future solo Tony Stark fronted Iron Man films, but I hope the character returns in the near future with a new hero taking up the mantle, and that War Machine is allowed to hold down the fort in the meantime. Great hero, decent trilogy!
