It’s a quiet and sleepy Friday morning, the first day of my weekend, and I was feeling the itch for a little bit of 70’s horror goodness. Naturally, it’s been over a year since I’ve last seen the unassailable horror classic Carrie, based on the similarly revered Stephen King hit, it seems like the natural choice🔥🔥🔥 I could watch this one literally any time, any day. I’m consistently blown away by the title performance of Sissy Spacek, as it really is one of the most authentic, heart breaking, sophisticated turns I can think of from that era. Piper Laurie is certainly no second fiddle as Margaret, Carrie’s completely unhinged mother. The story still makes me squirm to this day, and for me, this film easily makes top 5 of the decade. Lastly I must point out these ridiculously sexy Scream Factory collector’s editions including the online only bonus slip 😎😎😎😁😁😁 What about all of you? Any fans of the tragic tale of Carrie White?
