Jersey Girl (Blu-ray)

Alright, time to take a quick departure from all of the horror and sci-fi and action and daarrrrkkknessss for a trip wayyyyy back to the tender and innocent year of 2004. Here we have Jersey Girl, legendary nerd king Kevin Smith’s very first foray into writing and directing outside of his View Askewniverse. I remember watching it the year it was released and being extremely disappointed, but can’t for the life of me remember anything about this one or why 😂 That said, so much of my perspective and tastes have changed so drastically in the last 16 years, and I’m actually pretty excited to revisit this one for the very first time. Everything is fuzzy, and I think I’m most stoked to see how George Carlin fits into this one. “New” George Carlin is always a good thing 🤘👏😎 I have literally owned this bluray for a decade and have never put it into the disc drive until now 😂 So, let’s see how this one goes! Any fans? I can’t remember the last time I heard anyone mention this one
