GGGGAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! So this is happening!!! Yet another one of my all time favorite films is getting the Scream Factory collector’s edition treatment 😍😍😍I’ve made no secret of my unassailable love and obsession with this absolute gem, and much like in the case of Silent Hill, l long hoped that Scream or Arrow would get ahold of this one and give it the deluxe treatment. Once again, my tenacity has been rewarded 😎 I am so far beyond stoked, this is officially my most anticipated release of the year so far. From the press release: “New extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date,” Scream Factory adds. “We can confirm today that we are doing a new 4K scan of the film! As for any much-inquired-about additional footage (in addition to what’s be presented on prior releases), we are looking into it as best we can. We welcome any leads you may have alongside our efforts.” How about all of you??? Anyone else excited about this one? Are you holding out hope they find a salvageable print of the long lost 35 minutes of directors cut footage? A literally holy grail of mine.
