Metroid 6" Jakks Figure

Let’s revisit @jakkstoys 6” Metroid figure. This figure first came to us in the early days of World of Nintendo and was exclusively sold at Toys R Us. I remember how difficult it was to find because it came in a case packed with another 6” figure which I believe was Windwaker Ganondorf. That figure proved to be highly unpopular and warmed the shelves causing delays in shipments of cases containing a Metroid figure. Stocks of Metroid were few and far between causing scalping of the figure on eBay and was largely considered one of the most prized and rare figures in the line. Today, it is readily available on Amazon and continues to sell for $15. It is one of the most unique figures in the line due to its size and material composition. The jelly shell of the Metroid is actually made of a soft transparent rubber very similar to that used on the Metroid amiibo. Do you have this fella in your collection?
