There are some films out there that are just pure and total comfort, and for me, this is one of the staples. Lots of Robin Williams films will make said list, but this film, along with Mrs. Doubtfire stand strong at the top. Hilarious, sentimental, surprisingly forward thinking, and just sweet across the board, through and through, there really isn’t a single thing I don’t love about this film. Nathan Lane is legendary here, pretty much running circles around the remainder of the cast, Williams included, but everyone does their part and the chemistry is just hard to top.
