Another aspect both films share is a deep rooted feeling of isolation. Where 30 Days of Night is concerned, it’s the physical isolation, and in Daybreakers it’s the isolation of the main character, and arguably humanity as a whole. These are two of my favorite vampire films that almost no one talks about, but I’ll be championing them until I get a stake in my heart. Any other fans? What are you watching tonight?
