“TRICK OR TREAT MUTHUHFUCKUH!!!” Ja niin se saa aikaan… after the surprisingly excellent, completely unexpectedly high quality rebootquel that was Halloween H20, I imagine that most people going to see Resurrection had every reason to believe the producers/filmmakers had learned their lesson, and were prepared to deliver another slice of Halloween goodness. And then the film came out. To say this first and only sequel in the newly rebooted chronology was an unmitigated disaster would likely be one of the biggest understatements in horror history. This movie SUUUUUCKS 😂😅😂 And I have difficulty believing anyone involved in the production would try to counter that statement with a straight face. A ridiculous reality TV setup (seriously? 😂), absurd bordering on ridiculous performances from absolutely everyone involved, gimmick casting, ridiculous “action” scenes, Busta Rhymes making a fool of himself by spin kicking Michael Myers while imitating Bruce Lee... DANGERTAINMENT... I mean... good god. Saying all of that... if you go in accepting this for what it is, maybe make a drinking game out of it... it can be entertaining. Shockingly, because of that it’s actually not my least favorite in the series 😂 Ridiculous, so much so that it instantly ended this new canon, prompting the desperate moneybags to usher in the Rob Zombie era. Ooooh boy 😅 What did you all think of Resurrection?
