Live and Let Die on kahdeksas James Bond -elokuva ja sen musiikin on tehnyt George Martin. Se oli ensimmäinen Bond-elokuvan soundtrack, johon ei osallistunut John Barry, mikä johtui siitä, että hän työskenteli musikaalin parissa ja oli riitaantunut Bond-tuottaja Harry Saltzmanin kanssa viimeisen nimikkokappaleen vuoksi.
