Just finished watching ”Explorers”. Joe Dante’s mid 80’s scifi/adventure comedy is an enjoyable but fairly unbalanced experience that has a lot of fun moments but it also feels a little disorienting and poorly narrated at times. Despite its shortcomings I really loved the lighthearted tone of the film and the characters are quite likeable too. Overall ”Explorers” is a fun movie but it had potential to be a lot better and that’s propably one of the reasons it’s not as widely appreciated as many other 80’s adventure comedies😊 Just finished watching ”Explorers”. Joe Dante’s mid 80’s scifi/seikkailu-komedia on hauska mutta melko epätasainen kokemus, jossa on paljon hulvattomia hetkiä, mutta se tuntuukin toisinaan hieman hämmentävältä ja huonosti kerrotulta. Huolimatta sen puutteista rakastin todella elokuvan Kevyttä tunnelmaa ja hahmot ovat aika miellyttäviä. Kaiken kaikkiaan ”Explorers” on hauska elokuva, mutta siinä oli potentiaalia olla paljon parempi, ja se on epäilemättä yksi syy siihen, miksi se ei ole yhtä laajalti arvostettu kuin monet muut 80-luvun seikkailukomedijat😊
