James Bond 007 - Lunchbox - Glidrose Productions - 1960's

In 1966 Glidrose Productions Ltd, created a James Bond 007 lunchbox and thermos. Inspired by Goldfinger & Thunderball, with the artwork by John Henry. Embossed metal features on the front panel show Bond escaping in his Aston Martin DB5, whilst Goldfinger's bodyguard Odd Job points a gun at him. The back featured Largo's hydrofoil yacht from Thunderball with a variety of agents in pursuit, and with various other scenes around the edges. The lunchbox was trimmed in black with a black handle. The thermos for this kit showed an underwater scene from Thunderball and sported a black lid. These things sell for a fortune, and many are scratched, dented, faded and rusted. You get what you pay for, and I found one quite cheap. Rusted, scratched, dented, faded, no handle and no thermos. But I do really enjoy having the vintage 1960’s Bond collectors items, and just had to have one.
