Escrow & Buyer Protection – How Golisto Protects Every Transaction

Golisto holds your payment securely until delivery is confirmed. Learn how Golisto's escrow system works.

How Golisto's payment protection works

  1. 1

    Buyer pays

You complete checkout. Your payment is processed securely through Stripe and held by Golisto.

  2. 2

    Seller ships

The seller ships the item. The moment a tracking ID is registered in Golisto's system, the confirmation window begins.

  3. 3

    Delivery confirmed

Once the item is delivered and the buyer confirms receipt, funds are released to the seller within 5–7 business days.

  4. 4

    Dispute window

Before confirming delivery, buyers can flag issues. If an item is not as described or hasn't arrived, a dispute can be opened before payment is released.

Your money is always protected

Buying collectibles online involves trust. Golisto's escrow system and buyer protection are designed to make that trust structural – built into every transaction, not something you have to hope for.

What buyer protection covers

Covered

Buyer protection covers items that do not arrive, items that arrive significantly different from description, items that arrive damaged, and disputes opened before delivery confirmation.

Not covered

Buyer protection does not cover buyer's remorse after confirmed delivery, damage caused after the buyer confirms receipt, or disputes raised outside the eligible timeframe.

Sellers are protected too

If a buyer opens a dispute, Golisto's trust team reviews all available evidence before making any decision: tracking data, photos, listing description, and communication history. No automated decisions.
