Mortal Kombat 4 (Nintendo 64 - Midway - 1998 - EUR) I wanted 3D, well here is 3D I guess. Even with an extra dimension, MK4 plays an awful lot like MK3, except maybe with a couple addition such as the side step and weapons to grab on the ground. The animations are still stiff as hell and the fatalities looks goofier than ever. The cosmetic makeover hardly hide the fact that the franchise run on the same formula for years, and it is understandable that Mortal Kombat went on welcome break after that.
