The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Game Boy - Nintendo - 1993 - FRA) 🌟 It’s late January 1994, it’s raining and I’m wandering alone in my middle school’s playground. I’ve just finished Link’s Awakening the night before and I couldn’t wrap my head around it: it was a dream all along! But what about the cute Marin, my first video game crush? What about the animals’s village? Were there just a lie? Of course they never existed, it’s just a video game after all, but it shows how it impacted my young self. The month I’ve spent completing Link’s Awakening is a precious memory and the realization that a whole world can fit in a tiny Game Boy cartridge. I know it’s common ground here but it’s the best game on Game Boy, and my personal favorite in the Zelda franchise.
