Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters (Game Boy - Nintendo - 1991 - FAH)

Like Metroid, I played Kid Icarus way after its release. I was aware of it via magazines, but it never hit the spot for me. This sequel to the seminal NES episode is a good follow up, expanding on the exploration. The graphics are on par with the home console version, and even if it has only four levels, they are long and challenging enough. Note that it was never released in Japan until the 3DS Virtual Console. A fairly standard action game for the system, nothing memorable though. Not enough for me to stick with it and finish it, anyway.
