Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge (Game Boy - Konami - 1991 - FAH)

This is how you do a sequel: take everything that was good from the first entry, make it better and take everything that was lacking and fix it. Castlevania II is arguably one of the best action game on the system: the pace is slow but the controls are top notch, the graphics are gorgeous and what can I say about the music? One of the best OST ever made. Careful, even if there are only six levels, they are very long and pretty difficult. You won’t see the ending in one sitting, for sure. I remember that the shop owner who sold me my copy many years ago kept on saying « Castlemania » instead of Castlevania. It drove me crazy and I decided to never buy anything from him ever again.
