At the time, the big question was to choose which of the Genesis or the SNES version of Aladdin was the best. Oddly enough, this Game Boy version is a port of the Genesis version, so with a Super Game Boy, you can say that you could finally play those two different games on SNES! Personally, I prefer the SNES version, but this Game Boy port is pretty amazing: the animation is great and the game is pretty faithful to the Genesis version. I’m not a fan of this kind of maze-like level design, and Aladdin seems like a reskin of Cool Spot to me, but I’ve spent a good time on it anyway.
