There is no way I start reviewing my SNES collection without this wonderful game. It was Super Mario World that made me want a SNES in the first place. Everything is so vivid, from the graphics to the music, all the secrets and the world map... I remember playing it mostly in shops: I went there every saturday and played for an hour or so before I was expelled by the clerk. I always managed to get to the Vanilla Dome, and what was beyond was a mystery for me for years. My parents bought it to me years after its release, an used copy, and it shows: the box was already badly torn. But I didn’t care back then, all that mattered was that I finally got to play Super Mario World as much as I wanted.
