James Bond 007 - Oddjob - 40th anniversary - Sideshow 12”/30cm action figure

This is one of the ‘James Bond 40th anniversary edition’ series released in 2003 of Oddjob, arguably one of the greatest JB villains. The Sideshow 12”/30cm action figures from the James Bond Film ‘Goldfinger’ (1964), and was a limited edition of 7,500 figures. I’m a bit critical of the artwork they used for this box. The image depicts Sean Connery beating the crap out of Oddjob (Harold Sakata), who we only see his head from behind. Harold Sakata is arguably one of the best Bond villain’s from the entire series and really deserves a lot more respect than that. The figurine itself is a great addition to any Bond collection, and highly detailed. It comes with a bowler hat, two bars of gold (for James Bond to throw at him), a big block of wood which Bond futilely smashes over his head and a silenced pistol. These Sideshow figurines are highly collectable, and I’ve got 9 in the collection now.
