Slytherin is one of the four houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, founded by Salazar Slytherin. When the house was created, Salazar instructed the Sorting Hat to choose students who had a few distinctive traits that he valued most. These traits include cunning, ingenuity, leadership and ambition. The founder was highly regarded and favored pure-blood students, and the Sorting Hat admitted that it may be a factor when sorting. The house's symbolic animal is a serpent, and its colors are green and silver. Size: 9.5 cm
