”VFW” is an absolutely kickass action horror/thriller by director Joe Begos who really goes all out with this wonderful homage to films like ”Assault on Precint 13” and other classics from the 70’s and 80’s. This is such a fun and blood-soaked 90 minutes with enjoyable action scenes, dry humor and awesome gore effects. The strong cast, including tough old-school legends like Stephen Lang, William Sadler and Fred Williamson, makes this a definite must-see for every fan of a solid genre movie!
