”Hellboy” is the widely hated franchise reboot by director Neil Marshall starring David Harbour in the titular role. After the two great movies by Guillermo Del Toro this film definitely feels like a bit of disappointment but despite its flaws I honestly think is a passable and fairly entertaining action/fantasy adventure. The story is a little all over the place and some of the CGI feels quite mediocre by todays standards but I really liked the bloody R-rated approach and David Harbour does a fine job in the lead role also.
