The Dead Lands (DVD)

”The Dead Lands” is a brutal and snazzy little action adventure from New Zealand that reminds me a lot of Mel Gibson’s ”Apocalypto”. I really liked the rough action scenes alongside the cool visual style and stunning locations but the story is quite forgettable and it really drags through the midway point of the film. Not a perfect movie but I would still recommend giving it a go.
