Can you kill a wizard? Yes, you can try, but they do not always stay dead! “Are you familiar with the name Zagor?” he asks softly, while he carefully watches how you respond to the question. “Zagor was the wizard of Firetop Mountain until he was killed ten years ago,” you say with conviction in your voice. “He IS the wizard of Firetop Mountain,” the orange-robe man says in a trembling voice. “He has risen again! Right now he is in the process of creating a new body, and he is sending his evil servants here to Ambolt to fetch living donors!” Swords & Sorcery is a series of adventure books where you, the reader, are the hero yourself, and you must choose your path through the caverns. Along the way you will be confronted by enemies you must overcome, and to do so you will need a couple of dice. It is a perilous quest, where you may not succeed on the first attempt to win the treasure. The books combine novel and game, and deliver an entertaining story that can be read several times before you have experienced all the outcomes of the adventure. Swords & Sorcery #9: Return to Firetop Mountain has been translated and published by Faraos Cigarer’s forlag. The book is the official sequel to The Wizard of Firetop Mountain, which is the first Swords & Sorcery edition published.
