”When a Stranger Calls” is an entertaining crime/horror thriller from the late 70’s with an iconic opening sequence and a few extremely creepy scenes. After the first 15 minutes it quickly turns into a more of an detective film than a horror movie and its biggest issue definitely is that it never quite manages to top those first 15 minutes. Eventhough it’s fairly entertaining throughout the entire story, the intro and finale almost seem to be from a different movie. Overall ”When a Stranger Calls” is a solid thriller and most certainly worth taking a look😊
