”Congo” is an mid 90’s action adventure that often gets unjustifiably compared to ”Jurassic Park” just because it’s based on a novel by Michael Chrichton. Unfortunately that doesen’t mean this is a good movie and eventhough it has all the makings of a great adventure, ”Congo” is mediocre at best. The story lacks emotion, characters are forgettable and the visuals feel a bit modest at times. There’s some fun moments scattered around and the story gives you glimpses of what it could be but never quite reaches the heights it’s aiming for😊
