”The Limehouse Golem” is an engaging and beautifully executed serial killer mystery based on Peter Ackroyd’s novel ”Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem” aka ”The Trial of Elizabeth Cree”. I absolutely love detective stories set in the Victorian London and ”The Limehouse Golem” really is a pretty damn solid addition to the genre. It has a good storyline and effective visuals but ultimately it’s fueled by the stellar perfomances of Bill Nighy and Olivia Cooke. Sadly the plot loses some its charm towards the end and the finale isn’t quite as memorable as you could’ve hoped. That said, ”The Limehouse Golem” is an entertaining and well crafted thriller that’s most certainly worth checking out!😊 RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/3
