”Brightburn” is an entertaining scifi/horror thriller with its premise set around the simple idea; what if Superman became evil? This is definitely a fun movie with a lot references to Superman and it’s also surprisingly brutal and gory at times that kind of got me off guard a few times. The story is a little clumsy and predictable though and I think it could’ve been a lot more effective and engaging if you could have symphatized with the main character, which can be a little difficult when he starts going full psycho on innocent people. Even with its flaws ”Brightburn” is a good 90 minutes of simple horror entertainment😊 RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
