”The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot” is an wonderfully original and mellow adventure drama with a hint of fantasy. If you’re expecting a big scale action flick with a ton of special effects and big action set-pieces you’ll be disappointed as this is a very subtle and fairly slow-paced movie that’s more of a character piece than a true action adventure. Eventhough I found the story quite engaging and fun to watch it can be a little too somber at times and probaly could’ve used a few quick action scenes to spice it up a bit. Sam Elliot’s lead perfomance is absolutely stellar and he really takes hold of every single scene he’s in. The cinematography is also absolutely beautiful throughout the entire film. ”The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot” most certainly isn’t for everyone and some people will propably dislike it for all the reasons I really enjoyed it.
