Lesney Matchbox DATSUN 126X 1975

When I was cleaning out my Mum’s shed a few years ago I found my old DATSUN 126X from 1975. I’ve had this since new and it’s a true survivor despite having the living shit beat out of it in the dim and distant. I reckon it was trod on at some point as the boot-lid is busted off and the roof a little bent. This car is pure nostalgia and I’m pissed off with myself as I had a chance to pick up a minty fresh one at the a coupla weeks ago and stupidly didn’t. I’m in two minds as to what to do with this one: leave it as is in its aged, pattina’d glory or break it apart and do a semi-custom on it. Thoughts?
