Tonight I watched "The Punisher" (2004) Extended Cut. I've seen the theatrical version numerous times but this was my first watch of the extended cut. I wouldn't say that it's significantly better than the original version but it gives you a deeper look into the story. I've always liked this film even though it's not the best adaptation of this iconic character. Thomas Jane is excellent as the Punisher and John Travolta makes a great villain but the story could've needed at least two bigger action set-pieces to make it truly memorable. If you disliked the theatrical version there's propably nothing for you to enjoy in the extended cut but for the fans of the original it's definitely worth a look😊
