Just finished watching "Bastard". This was a damn strange indie horror flick. It's seemingly imitating 80's exploitation films but unfortunately faills in doing so. The story seems to make no sense whatsoever and it's weirdly paced with some mediocre gore effects and ineffective scares. It's also packed with a very weird and dark sense of humor which is definitely the strongest part of the movie but ultimately a hit-and-miss. Overall "Bastard" feels like a mishmash of loose ideas😊
