Tonight I rewatched "Cutthroat Island". Despite its reputation as one of the biggest box-office failures of all time, I've always enjoyed revisiting this fast-paced action adventure. It has all the elements of a classic pirate story and eventhough the plotline goes through most of the cliches from the genre, this film truly shines with big action scenes, impressive production design and gorgeous locations. If I had to choose between "Cutthroat Island" or one of the last two "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, I would choose "Cutthroat Island" any day of the week. Fun and underrated adventure film😊
