Tonight I rewatched "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning". Entertaining but a little pointless prequel that ends up repeating all the basic chainsaw massacre stuff we've seen before. It feels a little strange that they wanted to do an origins story but after the first 20 minutes it's basically the same movie you saw when you watched the 2003 remake. Visually it's not quite as appealing as the previous film but there's a few good kills and the gore effects are pretty cool. Not really a bad movie but the story is very unimaginative😊
