VHS - Landet for Længe Siden: Den Kolde Tid- NR.8

🦖 The Land Before Time – A Guide for the Collector! The Land Before Time is one of the most beloved animated series in history. But did you know there are as many as 14 films in the series? Because the films were released over almost 20 years, there is a big difference in how rare they are on VHS today. Here is a quick guide to how the films are distributed on the retro market: The Ultimate Classic (No. 1): The original film from 1988 (directed by Don Bluth and produced by Spielberg & Lucas) is the series' absolute crown. This is where nostalgia peaks, and it is always in incredibly high demand among collectors. The Common Bestsellers (Nos. 2 to 6): These films were released in the 1990s, when VHS tapes were in every Danish home. They were printed in enormous quantities, making them fantastic and affordable films if you just want to relive the magic. Transitional Films (Nos. 7 and 8): Released around the turn of the millennium (2000-2001), just as the DVD format began to take over the market. These films are noticeably harder to find than the 90s classics and tend to sit in the higher price range. The Ultra-Rare (Nos. 9 to 13): Released in the mid-2000s. When these hit the streets, most people had switched from a VCR to a DVD player. Universal therefore printed only a very limited number on VHS. If you find one of these, you’re holding a genuine collectible! Whether you’re looking for the film that started it all, or you’re trying to complete your collection, at Portal of Fantasy we continuously have the various numbers in stock.
