Howard the Duck 1 x2 1978 & 1979. I have a pretty cool (if that is possible) Howard the Duck collection so I’ve got to show ‘em. Here are a couple that you don’t see that often. I love how Howard relates to both kids and adults as he is such a wacky character but yet he persists. The yellow book here is It's Adventure Time With Howard the Duck (1978). Only this first issue, the first in a planned series of eight, was released. The complete series would have reprinted the entire Howard the Duck newspaper comic strip collection. Written by Steve Gerber with Gene Colan art. Also, the white magazine is Howard the Duck Magazine 1 presenting “Fowl of Fear!" Insane farmer Mister Chicken has his eyes on Howard and Bev. He thinks they would make good livestock. "From Hell It Cometh...Chair-Thing!" The Kidney Lady hassle Howard and Bev, who end up naked in bed on the final page. Also includes "The $64,000 Desperado!"
