Jeopardy! #776 Alex Trebek

The events mentioned in this story happened in 2019. Back in May, I ordered two of the Alex Trebek Pops from the Jeopardy Store. (I ordered two because there was a Chase version.) Well, I just received them in the mail (August 14th). You read that right, I just received them. This was all thanks to, as they described it, “warehouse issues.” I placed the order on May 10. They were supposed to ship on May 24. That, obviously, didn’t happen. I called the support line on the 25th and they informed me that it would not ship out until June 14th. Begrudgingly, I waited for the date to come around and I checked my email hoping to see the shipping confirmation that they said would arrive when they shipped out from the warehouse. June 16th I’m on the phone with the support line again. This time, they say they won’t ship out until the 30th. I explain how this is starting to get ridiculous (which is something that I shouldn’t have had to do.) They state that they understand and offer to cancel my order and refund my full purchase if I would like. I tell them that I would not like to do that and decide to just wait because I did want the pops. July rolls around and, sure enough, I found myself back on the phone with support. This time, they push the date back to July 15th. Again, they offer the option to cancel my order and refund my money. I declined and restated that I would like to receive the pops. At this point and time, I was beginning to think that they would never come. Sure enough, I found myself back on the phone with support. This time, the date was pushed back to August 16th. I expressed my frustration and requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was gracious and offered the same thing that I’d been offered in the past. But, this time, he included that he could refund me a small percentage for the inconvenience. I accepted and just decided to wait. Because, I’ve waited for this long, what’s a little while longer? Well, they finally arrived. And I even got one of the Chase versions! I love these figures and I’m so glad that I finally got them.
