Er ret sikker på at dette er en kina kopi. Brought to us by Gentle Giant, this 7″ Marvel Select: The Wolverine figure manages to capture Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in his prime. The figure shows Wolverine as a powerful beast and is consistent with Hugh Jackman’s representation of the character. However, Gentle Giant didn’t merely add a Hugh Jackman-like face to a generic body, the sculpting is realistic and really shows that Marvel Select wants to offer fans their money’s worth. Just look at the veins and hair in his arms and shoulders! The paint application on this figure is great as well. Wolverine’s skin has different tones and features a gloss-like shimmer, which really gives off the feel that he is sweating and in the heat of battle. His trunks have different colour washes over them, which make him look dirty, gritty and more militant. This is enhanced by his combat boots, which also feature some grit and grime. This Wolverine figure features around twenty points of articulation. He has a ball joint head. The shoulders are ball jointed. He has swivel biceps, single joint elbows, and swivel-hinge wrists which allow the wrists to turn and move up and down. He also has a ball jointed mid-torso, allowing for great side to side movement, while his H-shaped hips allow you to create those epic poses and pounces. The figure also has swivel thighs, double jointed knees, swivel shins and swivel hinge ankles that move up and down. Unfortunately, this figure does not come with the traditional display base. Instead, we’re given three interchangeable heads, 3 pairs of interchangeable hands and a Katana. The faces show his level of anger: peeved, angry and insane rage. Although, his insane rage face looks rather silly. The eyes are just too big and the pupils make him look as though he is an anime adaptation. You also get a pair of clenched fists, a pair of bone claw hands and a pair of adamantium claw hands. The katana accessory is really great and complements the figure well. It features a lovely detailed golden pattern. This figure is a must have for Wolverine fans. It is probably the most movie accurate Wolverine figure that has been released thus far. The sculpt really resembles Hugh Jackman.
