Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Game Gear - Sega - 1992 - PAL)

New day, new console! Today I start to cover my (small) Game Gear games collection, starting with Sonic 2. This sequel is not as good as its predecessor for a number of reasons. First, I’m not sure about the new game mechanics, like the cartwheel or the flight. And where is the spin dash from the Genesis version? And Tails? But the biggest problem of them all is the screen crunch, compared to the identical Master System version. For a high speed game like this one, it sure is inconvenient. You’ll have to memorize most of the stages in order to avoid hazard that appears just in front of you. Shame.
