In 1985 Matchbox released several cars from the movie “A View To a Kill”. This Renault 11 Taxi was built to scale 1:64 which in the movie Bond ripped it in half. Corgi had held the licence to produce James Bond cars since the 1960’s and had done an amazing job. Between 1985 – 1989 Matchbox was officially licenced to produce cars, & thankfully the producers saw common sense and brought Corgi back, as these were pretty cheap looking.
