Una de las muchas intenciones que Konami tuvo para desarrollar un juego de lucha. Quizá es un poco demasiado ambicioso para la Game Boy, pero Raging Fighter luce bien, desde su buena intro hasta los gráficos que irían más en una SNES. Con la paleta limitada, es difícil distinguir a los luchadores en pantalla, ya que todos se parecen bastante. La jugabilidad es aceptable, incluso si la acción es un poco lenta y flotante. Por el lado positivo, Raging Fighter ofrece muchas opciones y modos de juego, como un modo de práctica, lo cual era bastante inusual en esa época. A menudo pasada por alto, Raging Fighter es un buen juego en general, pero nada para volverse loco.
