HALLOWEEN 78 - SYNOPSIS T-SHIRT - s

If one were to write a very short synopsis for Halloween from 1978, it could basically be: Michael Myers is back. Laurie Strode is having a really bad night. Haddonfield should start locking the doors. The synopsis motif toys with the classic horror film storytelling and the entire atmosphere surrounding The Shape, who doesn’t need to run, shout, or do much at all to be unsettling. He just walks. And yet he’s always about three meters closer the next time the camera cuts. A Halloween T-shirt for fans of John Carpenter’s original, classic slasher-horror and the film that taught us that babysitting can have surprisingly poor working conditions. Warning: When Michael Myers “comes home,” skip the welcome party.
